Two large windows offer a wide and bright overlooking of Calimaruzza street and Piazza della Signoria and the presence of the luxurious finishes of the ceiling frames and furniture allow the creation of a comfortable and luxurious place dedicated to the artist and the great historian who lived between the ‘400 and ‘500 to which the famous “Vasarian Corridor” has been entitled to in the Uffizi Gallery in Palazzo Pitti.

About the name

Giorgio Vasari was born in Arezzo in 1511 carried out its activities mainly in Florence where he founded the Academy of arts and design along with other artists, based on the principle that the study of the design is the basis for all Arts. He is remembered mainly for his activities as historian and art critic with his essay titled Vite de più eccellenti pittori, scultori et architetti of which We have a first edition dated back to 1550 and a second in 1568.
